I am Britta. I love tactile textiles; the way hands can weave and work fibre.  Living is a creative process. It can take many forms. We never know where it will take us. But we need each other to give it meaning.

I came to Australia from Germany and Denmark, from 4 generations of artists. As a kid I loved traditional crafts and treasure hunting. I still do. Currently we drown the world in 'stuff' so I work with the found, the used - to tell stories, to find meaning, to bring joy and offer new values.

I create, invite – and connect: me to others, to fibre, to space, to story, to past, to feeling, to possibilities.
