‘shed shop’

My first interpretation of the anti-consumerism message was a whole ’shop’ of reclaimed, re-worked and re-invented goods.
The installation meant to be fun and harness people’s habitual delight at shopping and the thrill of treasure and bargain hunting.
The funky environment and the up-cycled wares instigated much communication, re-thinking, sharing of ideas and teaching of skills how to ‘make new of the old’.
